Marcus Gardner - Extra Innings Owner/General Manager/Instructor

Marcus was a 2-time All-State infielder for Abernathy High School, and was a finalist for Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Player of the Year. He lettered one season at Lubbock Christian University as a pitcher/infielder. After graduating from Texas Tech, he became the head baseball coach at Lubbock Trinity Christian High School. Marcus overseas all aspects of Extra Innings, and instructs hitting, fielding, and pitching.

Will Basom - Baseball Instructor

Will comes to Extra Innings after a stellar high school and college career. He played high school ball at Lubbock High, where he earned All-District and All-South Plains in 2003 and 2004, South Plains Player of the Year and First Team All State in 2004, and lead all Texas 5A players in batting average in 2004. Will played as Howard College in Big Spring in 2005 and 2006 and then went on to play for Coach Brian Reinke at UTPB. At UTPB, he earned All Conference honors in 2007 and 2008, the Scholar Athlete Award, and hit .518 as a junior in 2007. He played his summer baseball in the Texas Collegiate League and was a TCL All-Star in 2007. Will played professionally with the River City Rascals of the Frontier League, earning player of the month in June of 2008. Will currently serves as a college minister at Mid Cities Church and the team chaplain for Midland College. He instructs hitting and fielding at Extra Innings.

Logan Parker - Baseball Instructor

Logan comes to Extra Innings with professional and collegiate playing experience as well as previous instructing and training. He is a native West Texan, graduating from Permian High School in 2002. Following a stellar high school career, Logan attended Western Texas Junior College and New Mexico Junior College, earning All WJCAC honors in 2004 while at NMJC. He played D-1 baseball at the University of Cincinnati and was All Big East his senior season. Logan was drafted by the Reds in 2006, and was in their organization for 5 years. While in Ohio, he also gave lessons and helped with clinics at Southwest Ohio Baseball Academy. Last summer, Logan played professionally with the Gateway Grizzlies and was a Frontier League All-Star. At Extra Innings, he will instruct hitting, infield, and outfield.

Judy Hardy - Softball Instructor

Judy was a two time All-State softball player at Andrews High School. She then played in college at Odessa Junior College, Cameron University, and University of Texas of the Permian Basin. She us currently the assistant softball coach at UTPB, and will instruct hitting, fielding, and pitching at Extra Innings.
